What’s better, when you sign up for a SpeakOut Account, you can activate Automatic 30 Day Top Ups for all your phone numbers. Just choose the Top Up amount, register and confirm your billing information, and your phone numbers will be topped up every 30 days. Just look for our handy-dandy Automatic Top Up icon!

Airtime can be purchased in four denominations.

Plus applicable taxes. A monthly fee of $1.25 will be applied to your account for 911 calls.  Minutes available will be reduced by the monthly $1.25 911 fee.  Number of minutes per voucher is dependant on usage. Long distance calls, texting and calls placed to 411 will reduce your account balance and available number of minutes. 411 calls are billed at $2.24/minute. SpeakOut Wireless bills each call in full minute increments.

*This only applies to prepaid airtime vouchers. If airtime is purchased within a value plan, it will expire 30 days from the value plan activation/reactivation date.

Text

How many texts could you text if you had unlimited text?

With our $15 Unlimited Text Messaging Add-On, you can tip-tap-type as many outgoing text messages as you want, and since incoming text messages are always free, your speedy fingers will never need to stop.

Simply register for a SpeakOut account, make sure you have at least $17.00 top up funds, and click activate*. OMG 2 EZ!

Oh, and make sure you have sufficient funds for your phone number in your account before your add-on automatically renews. Don’t worry, we’ll text you two days before the renewal date, and again when it has been successfully renewed**. If it wasn’t successfully renewed, you can still text anyway. Just remember that without the add-on, you’ll be charged $0.10 per outgoing text message.

* Plus applicable taxes. Text add-on expires 30 days from activation date. No credit for unused or expired text messages. Balances are non-transferable and non-refundable. To successfully add the text add-on to your SpeakOut account, you must have an airtime balance greater than $17.00, and your account must not expire within the next 30 days. Canada and USA (sent) text messages included. International text message rate is $0.35 per (sent) text. Incoming texts are always free.

** $15 fee will be deducted from your airtime balance every 30 days from the date of activation. To cancel this feature, call Customer Service (611 on your SpeakOut phone or 1-866-310-1023) or deactivate the feature from your online account before the next renewal date. If your airtime balance is below $17.00 at the time of renewal, the add-on will be removed from your account and you will be charged $0.10 per sent text message.

The $10 Unlimited Browsing Add-On will be retired and unavailable for future activation on June 30, 2013. If you've activated this add-on prior to June 30, 2013, it will expire and deactivate at the end of its 30-day cycle.

Browsing

For $10 a month*, you get unlimited browsing**. This means you can surf the web, check your Facebook, or if you’re feeling hungry, find the closest 7-Eleven. All right from your phone, 24/7. You can add Unlimited Browsing to you phone from within your SpeakOut online account, or by dialing 611 from your handset and speaking to customer service.

* The $10 fee will be deducted from your airtime balance on a monthly basis. See Phones for data-capable devices.

** To cancel this feature you must call customer service or deactivate the feature from within your online account as it automatically renews each month. If your airtime balance is below $12.00 at the time of renewal, the Unlimited Browsing feature will be removed from your account. To reconnect browsing please contact Customer Service  or activate the feature from within your online account.

Canada Long Distance — 20c/minute

Whether you’re placing a call to the far corners of Canada, our rates don’t discriminate. Standard SpeakOut long distance calls are 20c/minute (plus regular airtime rates) for long distance calls made within Canada. And if you have an active Value Plan with anytime minutes, Canada-Wide Long Distance calls are free.

How do I get this?

1. Find your destination number rate: type in the country or phone number to find your destination number.
2. Sign up or log in to your SpeakOut online account.
3. Activate the Global Long Distance Add-On & wait for a text message containing a local access phone number.
4. Save the local access phone number to your contact list for future dialing needs.

To place a call:

1. Dial local access phone number
2. Listen for recorded message prompt.
3. Dial 011, the destination number and press the # key.

If you do not use the local access phone number while placing international calls, you will be charged a higher rate!

* Airtime within a 30 Day Value Plan expires 30 days from the value plan activation/reactivation date. To check your Anytime Minute balance, go to your SpeakOut online account or dial *777*1# and press Send. Overage minutes are charged at $0.25 per minute, incoming or outgoing.

** Canada & USA (sent) text messages included. International text messages are 35 cents per (sent) text message. Incoming text messages are free.

*** 30 Day Value Plan fees will be deducted directly from your account balance every 30 days. Please make sure you have sufficient account balance to cover the cost of the feature you are adding, plus $2.00. If you do not have sufficient funds in your account balance for the renewal of a 30 Day Value Plan, your account will be switched back to $0.25 per voice minute and $0.10 per text message sent. You will be notified via text message of this change. See phones to select a data-capable handset.

You will not be able to add a 30 Day Value Plan to your account if your account is due to expire within 30 days. Activating a 30 Day Value Plan that includes text or data features will forfeit any existing unused text or data add-ons.

30 Day Value Plans may be deactivated on your SpeakOut online account. 30 Day Value Plans automatically renew every 30 days. Turning off any 30 Day Value Plan prior to its expiry date will automatically forfeit any unused minutes, text, and/or data.
